Questions
Questions we get on the phone
How much does it cost?
A flat call-out fee covers the drive, a look at the nest and a written price. The job price depends on the kind of nest and where it is, and you read it before we treat. If you book the treatment at the visit, the call-out fee comes off the job.
Can you really come the same day?
Yes, Monday to Saturday, when you call before 3 p.m. We have two trucks. If both are booked, we tell you on the call and book the first visit the next morning.
Do I need to be home?
For the first visit, yes, or someone who can show us the nest. The dusk treatment can happen while you are inside. We tell you where to keep children and pets.
What about my kids and pets?
We tell you which areas to keep them away from, and for how long. Licensed applicators follow the product label, and we will read you the product name if you ask.
What if the wasps are still there after you treat?
Call us within seven days and we will come back to the nest we treated. That does not cover a new nest built later or in another spot.
Do you treat carpenter bees or honey bees?
No. We tell you who to call.
Can you close the hole afterward?
We can quote closing a vent or a gap at the roofline as a separate job. It is not part of the nest price.
What if it is on a second story or a steep roof?
We tell you at the visit whether we can reach it safely. If we cannot, we say so and do not price it.
What if I am allergic to stings?
Stay inside and call us. If someone has trouble breathing or swelling of the face or throat, call 911.
